Investment casting is also known as lost-wax casting. It’s a process used by investment casting manufacturers in which a duplicate metal sculpture is made from an original sculpture. Wax pouring and removal After the mould making is done hot melted wax is poured in the cast to create an inner lining to form an even coating. The hollow wax copy is removed from the mould.
